Distribution Switchboard Volt Drop Tables

Calculations to give the maximum sizes of motor outputs that may be connected to distribution switchboards for the major starting methods where the motor full load currents are calculated for a motor with an efficiency of 90% and a power factor of 0.85 at various calculated switchboard fault levels for a maximum of a 1% volt drop are shown in the following tables:-
